World Champion longboard surfer Duane Desoto has a lifelong passion for the ocean, and he has channeled that passion – along with the dedicated efforts of his family, an extensive network of like-minded friends and fellow watermen – into a unique non-profit organization. Called Na Kama Kai, the group’s sole aim is to give Hawaii’s children what Desoto’s family gave to him: a love of the ocean, and a generous portion of self confidence.
