Looking to get your feet wet with a new sport? Born right here in Hawai‘i with Waikiki’s Beachboys, the sport of stand-up paddling has exploded in popularity and is now practiced all over the world on lakes, rivers and, of course, the ocean.
During last winter's Hawai‘i big wave season, boundaries were broken as some of the world's best big wave surfers challenged giant surf, typically only ridden by tow-in surfers.
