Eat FreshWhile it is true that Hawai‘i is highly dependent on imported food, it is possible to eat fresh and support home-grown Island agriculture at the same time. Farmers Markets are an important ingredient in this movement toward fresh, local produce.

One of the most popular is the Farmers Market at Kapiolani Community College, held on Saturday mornings. There you’ll find tourists and locals alike, enjoying the sights, sounds and, yes, tastes of the Islands.

Discover how and why eating fresh in Hawai‘i is good for everyone.
