Tin Can MailmanImagine a shop filled with treasures of yesteryear. Not just any treasures, but the best of Hawaiiana: antique hula lamps, aloha shirts, tiki statues, signs, posters, books, jewelry and much, much more.

The men who run Tin Cat Mailman, a shop that recently opened on Nuuanu Avenue in Honolulu’s Chinatown, are passionate about Hawaiiana. They have curated a collection that is drawing interior designers, collectors and those who simply love the whimsical and unique.

Many of the items are from the 1950s and 1960s, the golden age of Hawaiiana. These quality pieces have stood the test of time, and demonstrate the difference between the merely old and the authentically antique.
